Data centres and data transmission networks account for a significant proportion of global electricity consumption and CO\u2082 emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text\"><strong>We cannot eliminate this impact, but we have tried to minimise it in the areas where we can take action.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full cqop-impact-logo\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"95\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cqop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/impatto-sito-web-rete-cloudflare.webp\" alt=\"Logo Cloudflare, rete di distribuzione del sito CQOP\" class=\"wp-image-920369\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-text\"><strong>Energy: where our website is hosted<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text\">The website is delivered via the Cloudflare network, which is included in the Green Web Dataset compiled by the Green Web Foundation. This is a not-for-profit organisation that collects and verifies publicly available information on the energy consumption of web service providers. The verification relates to the content delivery network, not necessarily the server hosting the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full cqop-impact-logo\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"269\" height=\"95\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cqop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/impatto-sito-web-emissioni-carbonwebsite.webp\" alt=\"Valutazione Website Carbon del sito CQOP\" class=\"wp-image-920370\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-text\"><strong>Page size: less data, less energy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text\">The website has been designed in line with the best practices set out in the Web Sustainability Guidelines.
