Italy\u2019s qualification system is reaching beyond national borders, offering its experience as a potential model for the European Union. On October 12, 2026, CQOP SOA attended the presentation in Brussels of<\/strong> \u201cAccelerating European Innovation Through Public Procurement\u201d<\/em><\/strong> a report by General Catalyst<\/strong>, one of the world\u2019s leading venture capital firms.

The report highlights how regulatory fragmentation hinders the development of the single market and proposes third-party attestation providers as a way to simplify public procurement procedures. This standardized approach, built on a common set of principles and a centralized digital infrastructure, shares important features with Italy\u2019s SOA certification system<\/strong>. The role of SOA certification in the European single market<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The report <\/strong>presented by General Catalyst in Brussels examines some of the main challenges preventing the completion of the European single market<\/strong>, including the fragmentation of national qualification systems.
