How to read the percentages. Equipment and staff are calculated against turnover from works; completed works are assessed for each category.

Economic and financial capacity

SOA requirements: frequently asked questions

Do works for private clients count towards qualification?

Yes, if documented with a certificate of proper execution, contract, invoices and building permit.

Can I use works managed by my technical director at another company?

Yes, up to classification III. The SOA checks the length of the appointment, the period and the amounts: it is not an automatic transfer.

What documents are needed to demonstrate equipment and staff costs?

For equipment, the fixed asset register and financial statements; for staff, INPS DM10, INAIL and Cassa Edile summaries and the workforce declaration.

Does rented equipment count towards the 2% requirement?

Yes, but at least 40% must come from owned or leased assets.

In sole proprietorships, does the owner’s work count too?

Yes: the remuneration of the owner and partners counts as five times the INAIL conventional remuneration.
